Director of Marketing and Member Relations - Squire Creek Country Club
- Responsible for the creation of quarterly 16 page magazine/newsletter, including writing copy, taking photos, editing and coordinating information from other department heads
- Designed, wrote copy and took photos for 8-page Residential Information Folder and Membership Folder
- Wrote copy, took photos and assisted in the re-design of new residential website at www.squirecreek.com. Responsible for keeping site up-to-date with accurate information and pictures
- Wrote, co-produced and voiced 30 second television commercial spots to run statewide in
- “Branded” all Squire Creek printed materials, by re-inventing and creating the “look” of Squire Creek
- Coordinates all special events throughout the year
- “Official emcee” for all large events held at country club, including introduction of featured speakers such as Greta Van Susteren, Doro Bush and others; Speak and sing/perform for crowds from 30-300 people.
- Oversaw tours through 2005 Southern Living Idea House at Squire Creek; coordinated all local media coverage and advertisements and served as spokesperson; Liaison between Southern Living Magazine and Squire Creek; Responsible for daily financial count, and providing information to visitors, including the highest ever single-day visitation for a Southern Living Idea House at 786 visitors during a 6 hour period.
Marketing Director for SB Magazine (December 2000 – April 2002)
- Wrote bi-monthly column called “SB in the Community” about the goodwill efforts of local residents
- Responsible for marketing accounts and sold advertising
- Responsible for the coordination and development of the magazine’s first “special section,” which drew businesses to purchase full page advertising space for columns to be written about their company. Also wrote columns for these sections. The magazine has had much success with these special sections since their creation.
- Co-produced, emceed and entertained at first "SB Awards" show, honoring the "best of" Shreveport/Bossier City
Director of Community Relations and Game Operations for the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs Hockey Team (1999-2000)
- Managed staff of 25 + during all home games, including game announcer, music staff, all volunteers, and staff, coordinating all on-ice efforts other than the game itself
- Responsible for fulfilling marketing contracts with on-ice advertisers during games
- Responsible for scheduling and coordinating player appearances, and overseeing those appearances
- Responsible for writing the 35+ page scripts read by the game announcer at all home games, which included fulfillment of contractual obligations with advertisers, special intermission on-ice games, group announcements, etc.
